Denise PowersPhysical Therapist

Denise became interested in healthcare as a young adult after helping to establish a medical clinic in Africa.  Denise was a competitive swimmer and gymnast in HS and college and competitive triathlete after college.  She has worked as a personal trainer and spent a decade in the outdoor field as a whitewater river guide and Colorado Outward Bound instructor.  She began working in physical therapy in 1989 and received her Master’s in P.T. in 1998 from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She utilizes a multifaceted approach to achieve the best results for her patients. She has taken extensive continuing education in P.T. and is certified in trigger point dry needling and postural restoration.  In her spare time, Denise enjoys spending time with her husband and son, rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, hiking, skiing, cycling, SUP. Denise is able to treat the full spectrum of people with orthopedic problems, including:
